Selling guide
Documents to sell your property on Margarita

An orderly sale starts with the paperwork. Gathering it before listing the property shortens timelines and avoids surprises when an interested buyer appears.
First comes the registered title and the property's legal history, which confirm that the seller is the owner and that there are no outstanding encumbrances. Municipal clearances and the payment of taxes associated with the property are usually reviewed alongside.
If the property is in a residential complex, the status of the condominium is also verified. On the seller's side you need a valid ID and tax ID (RIF), and for owners who live abroad, a notarial power of attorney allowing them to be represented.
Exact requirements may vary depending on the type of property and each owner's situation, so this list is general guidance and does not replace legal advice.
At Caamaño Inmuebles we review the documentation with you before going to market, define a pricing strategy and guide you through signing. If you want to know where your property stands, write to us.
